Blond Baby Fox Squirrel

Every now & then you get a color mutation with Fox Squirrels. This was a rare blond, blue-eyed baby fox squirrel. The mom had triplets, the other 2 were the normal darker fur, black-eyed squirrels. You can see thru the tail to the cartilage and the ears are a bit translucent when the sun hits them. Look at the other photos in this squirrel gallery to see the difference.
