Monarchs #4, 5, 6, 7, & 8
In September 2015 I discovered I had more monarch caterpillars on my milkweed. I brought 4 caterpillars and one egg inside. The egg hatched and became the smaller caterpillar at the bottom here. I raised them all in my butterfly habitat. I was having to put fresh leaves in there at least 4 times a day, they ate a lot. This photo was taken right after I'd cleaned it out, put fresh papertowel (had to do that once a day) and new leaves.
