I have a photographer friend who talks about "chasing the light". This is the light he is talking about. I rounded a corner of a little game trail & saw a mockingbird who often stands guard here. Used to people & you can get close. The light at this exact moment was magical & the subject cooperative. These are the moments that feed the soul.
