Wrong Way Toenail
This mockingbird was getting beakfulls of suet and taking it to babies all day long. Took me awhile to notice it has a deformed toenail that points up and back. Did not seem to bother it any. When I checked my gallery, I discovered this bird was gathering suet the year before also, with the same backwards toenail. Nice to know it still nests here.
