Hackberry Emperor On A Willow Tree
I found this beauty on the trunk of a large Willow tree. Hackberries don't usually visit flowers, but instead they feed on rotting fruit, tree sap, dung, and animal carcasses. Not exactly what most people think of when they see a butterfly.
