Short-winged Green Grasshopper Green Form

This species comes in two color forms, brown & green. I had photographed one before and it was all brown so very nice to find a green one. It is a bit unique because the stocky body shape suggests a female but the mix of green and brown is a color pattern usually seen with males. Will have to remain a mystery since this is the only shot I got before it took off. On white prairie clover.
