Common Whitetail
Big male dragonfly on a stick hanging out over water. Dragonflies start out living several years underwater as nymphs. One day they climb out of the water and shed their skin and become dragonflies. Look in the bottom right corner of this shot and you can see the nymph shed skin (exuvia) hanging under the stick. Didn't know that was there until processing, almost didn't get it in the shot.
