Read MoreFemale Valley Carpenter Bee On Eve's Necklace
When the native Eve's Necklace trees bloom, they attract lots of bees. One of the bees was different, all black and very large. Sent it in to the experts & they said it looks like a valley carpenter bee but they are not confirmed this far east. They have requested a specimen for confirmation. With help, will be trying to do that. Would be cool to get their range extension confirmed. New species for me and apparently for Dallas.
