These bees are very important to pollination. They are generalists & visit all the flowers. Bee experts say they cannot be id'ed to the species level even under microscope sometimes. So very glad a local expert took her to subgenus level. He said: "Often the differences between species is the density of punctuations on the thorax and the surface texture between the punctuations."
