American Bumble Bee
This bee caught my eye because it had bright orange balls of pollen on each of its hind legs. It had just come from a patch of flowers that had orange pollen rather than yellow pollen. Here it is on white prairie clover. Summer 2015 was the first time I'd run across this species.
