Lady Bug Larvae
For some reason, these sandstone columns about the spillway, are a popular place for lady bug larvae of all kinds to go to pupate. I find larvae, pupa and newly emerged beetles there all the time. This time it was a 7-spotted lady beetle larvae. So bizarre looking. My first larvae of this species.
