Not What I Thought It Was
When I found this on a container plant in my yard, I thought I had a new kind of caterpillar. Sent it to the experts and found out it was not even alive. This is the shed skin (exoskeleton) of a tiger moth caterpillar which is very common here. Who knew? Apparently not me.
