Crane Fly

This is the insect that is all over the place right now and commonly called mosquito hawk. This one is a female, males have a rounded end as opposed to the pointy one of the females. They are harmless and only live a couple of days as an adult. Annoying to us but a delight to dogs and cats everywhere once they get in the house.
