Lucifer Bee Fly On Stiff Greenthread Wildflower
Love it when they cooperate by staying still long enough for a close up. This is a large, very pretty fly. The name makes sense when you consider the fact that they lay eggs inside moth larvae where the bee fly larvae eat the moth larvae from the inside.
