Young Male Eastern Pondhawk

This handsome dragonfly was in my daughter's flowerbed. Male eastern pondhawks start out green and black like the females. As they mature, they change to a deep blue color. The claspers at the end of the abdomen let you know it is a male even though the colors are same as female. He was very polite & posed for me.
