Yellow-collared Scape Moth
These are beautiful moths. I finally got one in the right light and angle to see the blue iridescence of the abdomen. Most of the time it just looks black. It was enjoying the nectar of wildflowers blooming at the edges of a swamp. The wildflower is a new one for me.
