Cool Little Leaf Beetle

I found this odd looking little beetle on a milkweed leaf in my container pot. Sent it to the experts for an id. New species for me. It does not have a common name & I could find almost no information on it. They eat plants but I didn't see any damage from this one. One article said leaf beetles are highly popular with insect collectors because of their interesting shapes. Yeah, I can see that.
