Close Up Of A Texas Bluebonnet

There are 5 species of bluebonnets included in the label of Texas state flower. This one is the most widely known. It has pointed leaflets, and the flower clusters are topped with white with some white and/or pink in the center. Beautiful flower and a favorite of parents and native Texans for taking photos. This was a small area so instead of a panorama, I went for detail. The stems and seed pods are covered with a fine fuzz.
