Papa Cardinal Feeding Baby Cowbird

Cowbird babies beg to be fed for much longer after fledgling than baby cardinals do. I feel sorry for the cardinal parents, they wear themselves out trying to fill the bottomless pits. Mostly it is the father cardinal doing the work.
