For the first time, I suddenly saw there were 2 baby cowbirds in the yard. They were usually far apart from each other and the cardinal was going back and forth between them. I'd never seen two of them at the same time before. This was the only shot where you can see the head of the second one in the bottom left of this shot. This explains why I was seeing them so much. When one would get full, the other would still be begging.
