1 A Pair Of Bald Eagles At White Rock Lake

I've seen eagles once or twice at WRL for a few years now but in December 2019 a friend & I saw a mated pair there for the first time. It was quite a shock to see them both in the tree together above me as I was walking a creek bank. I never saw anyone else mention seeing 2 eagles at the same time at this lake until recently in 2021. These were both fully mature eagles unlike the current pair that has one mature and one that is younger at about 4 years old. It is possible that one of these eagles in 2019 lost his mate and now has a younger mate. On this overcast day, we took a few shots then moved on & left them alone. They never seemed to notice us.
