Female Kestrel On A Cold Windy Day

She likes to perch here over the prairie grasses and spot the large grasshoppers she loves so much. On this cold morning she seemed to be trying to stay warm more than hunt. She just sat there fluffed up and looked at me. She usually will hunt while I watch but not this time. Don't blame her.
