Snowy Breakfast

Early this morning a Cooper's Hawk took a dove in my neighbors front yard. It will take me forever to go thru all the shots I took, it stayed right there and ate it but got this one for now. It is mantling to protect its meal. There was a second hawk, a juvenile that tried to take it but failed. My brick wall obscured some of the scene but most of it was in view. The meal lasted almost an hour. White Wing Dove.
