It was flying around in the trees across the creek from me. I didn't recognize the call & it was bigger than most of the birds I see in those trees. Finally perched in the open briefly. I was happy to see one. They migrate here in the summer and raise their babies. I have never seen anyone with photos of nests so they must be very well hidden. They migrate back to South America for the winter. One good thing is that they specialize in eating caterpillars and particularly the fuzzy ones other birds avoid. Like tent caterpillars and webworms, the ones we consider big pests for the damage they do.
