Daddy Great Horned Owl

Several yards away from the great horned owl nest, the Daddy owl was perched equally high in a tree. He was not very close to the nest but at that height, he had a direct line of sight into the nest. He seemed to be enjoying the sunshine & didn't look my way. I left after a couple of shots.
