Bundle of Sticks

I was looking for owls when I noticed a cooper's hawk that kept flying back and forth above me. The next time it landed I took a shot and discovered it had a bundle of sticks clutched in one foot. This let me know it was a male and he was either building from scratch or repairing a nest. With Cooper's it is the male who builds the nest then brings a female to it.
