Fierce Guardian

After checking in on the two baby cooper's hawks, I looked around for the parents. I found one in a nearby tree. It flew off before I could get a front shot. From the back and without the other parent to compare, I am not sure if this is mom or dad but they were looking in the direction of the nest in this shot.
