Mama Cooper's Hawk Enjoying Her Gift View 1

I walked around to a different angle & was able to see what she was eating. Papa had brought her a chunk of raw meat. There were no feathers or fur on it, it sort of looked like a torso with ribs. It was very fresh meat, the meat was deep pink to red. So, I am not sure if Papa brought her road kill or if he defurred/defeathers something and ate part of it before bringing it to her. It was very odd. She stayed right there in front of me while she ate it so I was able to get several excellent shots of her with it.
