Western Kingbird In The Sunshine

Love these flycatchers that show up while the wildflowers are blooming. They choose mates, build nests, raise their babies during the Spring and Summer. There are lots of insects to feed their young while the flowers are in bloom. At some point in late summer they disappear and don't return until the next Spring. Wondered where they go and found out that they winter in Central America.
