Found Papa Cooper's Hawk

After the red-shouldered hawks start brooding on their nest, the Cooper's hawks start building their nest, they are several weeks later in the season. So I started looking in the area where they nested the prior year & spotted the male high in a tree. He is smaller than his mate and his back is a bluish/gray color to her russet/brown. Nice to see they have returned to the same general nesting area.
