It's Nesting Season For Red-shouldered Hawks

The great horned owls had stolen a hawk's nest. This is the new nest that pair of hawks built after finally accepting the fact their original nest had been taken. This was down the road from where the owls were nesting. Red-shouldered hawks are brooding eggs right now. The male & female take turns with the brooding duty.
