Yesterday I finally had the pleasure of seeing Katie in flight and she was magnificent. She is the year round resident swan at White Rock Lake and the regulars all know her name. I was standing on the pier with a couple of fellow photogs when I noticed something large and white coming rapidly towards us from the other side of the lake.
