Slumber Party
During the cold months, large amounts of ring-billed gulls hang out on the upper spillway of White Rock Lake. They alternate between feeding and sleeping the day away. This group is what brings in an occasional rare gull species that was in the middle of migration. Kind of a headache to either take large group shots or use binoculars to slowly pan through all the gulls looking for something different. In this shot, they are all just ring-bills.
