A Fish Kill Means Dinner To A Gull
On the upper spillway there were gulls feeding on the dead fish. This one is an adult ring-billed gull. They are known for eating fish and anything else they can find or steal. I called the TPWD Kills and Spills Team and reported it. They sent out a biologist to check it out. I never did hear whether they found the cause of the kill.
