Immature Pied-billed Grebe

This is my first juvenile pied-billed grebe. A little later I saw 2 more, there were 3 in all. I discussed it with some bird experts and we probably had a grebe nest at White Rock. They don't normally breed here but it is not too far out of range and the habitat is right for it. Would love to see the nest and younger chicks some day. The remnants of white cheek stripes is what lets you know this one is immature.
