Looks like he found himself some breakfast. I recently found out how to tell a male juvenile wood duck from an adult male wood duck that is in eclipse plumage. They both look alike with their feathers and the white chin strap mark that identifies them as male. But the adult eclipse male will still have red on his beak with black on the tip of it. So, per the beak, this is a juvenile.
