At the time I saw it, I was not sure if it was a white-faced or a glossy ibis. The glossy are rarer around here. When in nonbreeding plumage or immature, they are difficult to tell apart. Fortunately the sun hit its eyes enough for me to see the red which made the id. Glossy have dark brown eyes. Wish it had been closer but I'll take it.
