Texas Cooter View 1

I found this turtle at White Rock lake & it looked a bit different from the river cooters. It may possibly be a Texas cooter which is not really supposed to be in Dallas County. Of course White Rock has a lot of species not supposed to be there. The fat tail and longer nails on the right front foot leads me to think it is a male.
Edit: species was confirmed by a Texas Turtles expert herpetologist & on inaturalist.
