Plain-bellied Water Snake #2 Body View

There are 6 sub-species of the plain-bellied water snake and in North Texas we get the yellow-bellied version. Many mistake them for cottonmouths but these have a round eye while cottonmouth's have a slit eye, like a cat, among other differences.
