Tackling the task of cleaning out my folder of gull photos from this past winter. Normally North Texas just gets a lot of ring-billed gulls but the spillway at White Rock Lake gets some migrating gulls of other species in the winter. The two larger gulls here are the normal ring-bills, an adult and a first year. The two smaller gulls with the dark on their head are migrating Franklin Gulls. They only show up on the spillway so they are not very close.
